Self-managed super fund advice · Pakenham
Your self-managed super, kept in good shape.
You've already got a self-managed super fund. If keeping it is the right call, we help you make the most of it — a fresh look at the structure, an up-to-date investment strategy, your pension sorted and your legacy planned. We advise and coordinate; your accountant handles the books.
Sound familiar?
The questions we hear from SMSF owners
You've had your fund for a while. Now you'd like to know it's doing its job — and still worth the effort.
“Is it still right for me?”
Life's moved on since you set it up. You'd like an honest read on whether to keep your fund, refresh it, or wind it up.
“Is it set up properly?”
You're not certain the trust deed's current, the trustee structure is right, or the fund's on best-practice footing.
“Is my investment strategy out of date?”
It was written years ago and hasn't kept pace with your life, the markets or the rules.
“Am I drawing my income the right way?”
You'd like your pension strategy working as hard as it can, in the most tax-effective way.
“Will it pass on the way I want?”
Your fund could carry property and wealth to the next generation — if it's structured to.
“Should I add or remove a member?”
Children joining, someone stepping back, or a change in the family — who's in your fund affects how it's structured and run.
What we do
How we help with your SMSF
Advise on whether to keep it
An honest assessment of whether your SMSF still suits you — keep it, refresh it, or wind it up.
Refresh and health-check your fund
We organise a trust deed review, check you've got a corporate trustee, and bring the fund up to current best practice.
Update your investment strategy
We rewrite the strategy so it matches your goals, the markets and the rules as they are now.
Sort your pension strategy
We structure how your fund pays you an income, with tax in mind — and review it as things change.
Plan for the next generation
We help structure your fund to pass property and wealth on the way you intend, working with your solicitor on the estate-planning side.
Work with your accountant
We advise on the strategy, structure, investments, borrowing and tax, then liaise with your accountant to put it all in place.
Straight advice
When an SMSF earns its keep
If you've got a fund, keeping it can be the right call. These are the situations where a self-managed fund most often earns its place.
It holds assets a standard fund can't
Business premises, direct property or other assets an industry or retail fund won't take on — an SMSF can.
It's a family fund
Several family members pooling super, sharing the costs, and coordinating strategy and estate planning together.
It can carry wealth forward
As a perpetual trust, your fund can keep holding property and investments well beyond your lifetime — a powerful way to pass assets to the next generation.

We put it in place and stay with you
We make the changes, liaise with your accountant, and keep your fund reviewed over time.

SMSF advice: FAQs
Should I keep my SMSF, or wind it up?
That's exactly what we help you decide. If keeping it is the right call, we help you refresh and run it well; if it's not, we can help you wind it up. Either way, you get a straight answer.
Do you do the accounting, tax returns and audit?
No — we're not accountants. We advise on strategy, structure, investments and tax, and liaise with your accountant and the fund's auditor, who handle the returns, audit, ATO lodgement and company secretarial.
My fund's been running for years — can you give it a health-check?
Yes. We organise a trust deed review, check your trustee structure, refresh your investment strategy, and flag anything that needs your accountant's attention.
Can my SMSF help pass wealth to my family?
It can. Because an SMSF is a perpetual trust, it can carry property and investments to the next generation. We help structure that, working with your solicitor on the estate-planning side.
Can you sort out the pension income from my fund?
Yes. We structure how your fund pays you an income, with tax in mind, and review it as your circumstances and the rules change.
